Imagination and Imagery

Starting this off with a bit of random. (Shocker there, right? =p) Although I like to say that 'Rawr' means, 'I love you' in dinosaur, there are some other possibilities to it's meaning. The reason that I say this is, I saw a picture the other day questioning Rawr's meaning. The author said that it really meant, “I'm going to eat you!” This does seem like a much more likely possibility. But, considering that we can not ask the dinosaurs what it truly means, I think that I shall stick with it meaning, “I love you.” (And even if we could ask, we would not be able to understand them...)

Another random string of words put together with honey and glue. (Do not not the paste... >.<) Eating jolly ranchers is... just simply awesome. That is all there is to it. The best candy out there? Possibly not. (Chocolate is the best. However, I group chocolate in a group all by itself... so...) These little jewel colored morsels of surgery and fruity goodness are very nice this evening. But... it's near 10 P.M.... so now I wondering if it's really such a good idea to be eating candy. Sleep (and, fingers crossed, a non-restless sleep) would be very much appreciated. Not likely... perhaps that is why I do not try to keep myself from eating things before I go to bed. I still have bizarre dreams and restless nights non-the-less. So, enjoy the candy I say! (Does it seem that I am rambling to anyone else? Or is that my imagination? Hmm...) But there is one more thing that I would like to add. If I offer you some of my candy... then be sure that it means that I consider you a good friend. Because I do not share my candy with just anyone. (Seriously... I'm a nice person. But I hide my candy and gum... [Gum also has it's own group apparently.. So does Pizza... And bacon.. And ramblings...] I don't just share meh candy with anyone. XD)

Now for the real reason for starting this post. (Besides rambling on about candy and Dino-speak.) You know those cards that psychiatrists show you that have the ink spots on them and demand that you come up with an answer? “Yeah... it looks like... a squirrel.” Well... I kind of have that question for you. However, I do not have any ink spotted cards. This is all within the realms of imagination and imagery.

Okay, this is how it'll go. I'll say a word, like... a wish. Then I'll ask you what you think of, how you would describe that word in a picture. Personally, I would describe this as a shooting star, or a dandelion that's gone to seed. But yet, it would be so much more. The shooting star would have millions of pin prick stars behind it, showing that there are millions of wishes, in the past, in the present, and in the future. The dandelion might be getting blown away by the breath of a small child who has their eyes closed with the hope that their wish will come true, and in the background you see the child in different still frame pictures of their life as they are growing up. Or having the same idea as the stars, and having the background be a whole field of dandelions just ready to be wished upon and then blown away into the air. Well, that is how I would think about it. How would you? (I don't really expect any answers, but I do hope that I get you thinking with this. How would you see these things personally? Instead of from someone else's POV? (POV= Point of view.) Here we go then.

A dream?

True love?

A daydream? (Which is different from a dream, just you know. A dream you have no control over. A daydream is your fantasies coming to life in your mind.)

The future?

A mistake?

Pure?

Wise?

Strong?

These are all things that have meaning, something to put with them. Pure could be a lamb's wool or a dove's wing. The future could be a pending job or starting a family. And perhaps that is what they mean to you. What you see in your mind's eye when one of these words are brought up. But perhaps you see something completely different. So, what do you see?

Sometimes to see something clearly in life, one needs to step back from it, no matter how hard it will be to do so. Sometimes one needs simply to stop and smell the roses, think of others first, or to just keep their mouth closed. Do not forget that life is not just out to get you, or bring you down. Try to remember the best things, the things that make you smile, and the little things. And do not let go of those things.

Have a good day! ^-^

Rawr!

(I do not own this picture. I found it online.)

Okay, I'd like to start with, I love that picture there. ^ Rawr! ^_^

Right! Well, I haven't written in a bit. (I actually had one written a few weeks ago, but before I could get it edited, I had to leave.) It seems that I say that quite a lot, since I'm not very constant with writing. Perhaps I should stop saying that? Naw... I like there to be something constant in the posts that I do get written. =p

Update
Well, there's some things that I've done here recently. For starters, I'm out of high school a year and half early. Meaning, I took a GED test half way through my junior year. I passed the test too! So, now I'm starting college this fall. Not really looking forward to it, but I'll be happy when it's over and I have a degree. And I will probably be getting a job this fall after my birthday. This is the year that I technically can be called an adult. How exciting. (I seem so enthused, don't I? =p) Another part of my update. A couple months ago I finally got to meet Blanky in person! ^_^ Well, her, her sister, her mother, and her little brother. They all came up to visit. It was an awesome 4 days! I think... this may be the end of my update of exciting life stuff.
 Books
I've read a few pretty good books here lately. First, the Hunger Games trilogy written by Suzanne Collins. I've read all three of them. The last two got read within a week. My first response after finishing them was to just sit there and go, "Wow..." The last two were very action packed, and there were some twists thrown in. I think that she did a good job in creating the characters. They all had their own distinct personalities and traits. The world of the future that she wrote the story in was very real seeming and believable. (Let us just hope that this does not truly happen to the country, yes?)  Having the 24 kids being taken to kill each other so there is only one victor... It's a disturbing thought. But isn't that resting on the thought of one life for the greater good? Hasn't that been said through out the ages? I think perhaps, that I did not like how Katniss and Gale's relationship ended. Although I understand why it had to be that way. (And to explain any more in depth about that would be to give spoilers.) I thought that, in all, that the three books were very well written and good reads. (And when I say that the writing was good... I'm very picky about that. But I liked Mrs. Collins' writing style.) And yes, there is a movie. I watched the movie before I read the book. Like almost every other book turned to movie, they left stuff out, got things wrong, and such. However, the main story was the same, and it's one of the better movie from the book that I've seen. (The best was the Princess Bride by William Goldman. I've seen that movie sooo many times that I can quote it. However, the book was a LOT like the movie. The main difference was that the author went deeper into the lives of Fezzik and Inigo before they met Vizzini. But this is me getting side tracked. However! I will say, that if you liked the movie of the Princess Bride, I would highly recommend reading the book.)

I also read the Princess of the Midnight Ball written by Jessica Day George. It's a story that is about the 12 dancing princesses. However, this story is much... darker then the Barbie version, which would only be logical. It's an interesting read. The POV switches between the first born, Rose, and the savior of the girls, Galen. Galen is a very well mannered young solider-turned-gardener that wishes only to make Rose happy and to help the girls. Another good read that I would suggest.

And, I have two more for you right now. Beastly and A Kiss in Time, both written by Alex Flinn. Beastly is very similar to Beauty and the Beast. (Go figure...) And a Kiss in Time is like Sleeping Beauty. Both set in the modern world. (There is some language, and alcohol is mentioned... But nothing seriously bad. However, perhaps not recommend for a younger audience.) (And yes, there is a movie version of Beastly. I have not seen the movie. But I noticed that the kid seemed to be simply made ugly in the movie, scars and tattoo like things. However, in the book he turned into a literal beast, fur and all.) These were both good books in their own rights. (I don't give the best book reviews. *Shrugs* This is what I have to give you however.) These are the most recent things that I've read. If I read something else that was pretty good, then I shall come back on here and tell you about them.

Movies
Just a quick list of the newer movies that I'd like to see. (1.) Underworld- Awakening. (2.) Avengers. (3.) MIB 3. (4.) Snow White and the Huntsmen. (5.) Act of Valor. I think there is some more to add to this list, but those are some of them, the main ones. Especially numbers 2 and 5. But.. I get to wait some more until they leave the theaters, come out on TV and DVD, go through Blockbuster, and then EVENTUALLY get to Netflix. >.< Bwhaha...(<Evil laughter) Netflix teaches you the virtue of patience. Especially when you're waiting for new seasons of TV shows to come on. (But, that's a whole different list. And I seriously doubt that you'd care what I like watching. XD)

Just some randomness.
Well, like that heading there says. Just some random things here to wrap this post up. First, if you've made it this far, you deserve a cookie and a thank you. So... Thank you for reading at least this far! ^_^ You have made my day awesome. I truly appreciate the people that take time to read my silly words. Thank you! (There will be a cookie here at the end, I promise!) And also, I'm not really sure how I can go from college stuff to books to movies, but apparently it's possible. Since I went and did it. These posts are truly as random as my thoughts. Random and odd. (Dangerous question to ask me, "What are you thinking about." Very, very dangerous question. XD. You probably don't really wanna know anyway. Just thought that I'd tell you this.) Well, I think that I shall head off and find some stuff to do to occupy my time before I go to the college later tonight and take a placement test. Toodles, dear reader!!! ^_^
