Winnie the Pooh

I plan on keeping this fairly short. It is getting fairly late.

Can you honestly tell me that you do not like Winnie the Pooh? Even if you're old. Well, anyway. I was watching it with my family the other day for the sake of my little sister, and a few things made me think of other stories. (I don't necessarily expect any of you reading this to agree or disagree with these musings and thoughts of mine. I often think of things in an odd manner.)

  1. Rabbit: He has the coat, the hat, and the personality to fit the description of the March Hare from Alice in Wonderland. I do believe that we could describe them as.... eccentric.
  2. Doctor Who: In particular when Tennant changed into the 11'th doctor, Smith.  At first he likes a whole bunch of food, then after tasting them, decides that he does not. (Until he finally decides upon likes fish fingers and custard. Ew.) Much like Tigger, right after he meets Pooh on that dark and stormy night. Tigger is set upon liking hunny, until he tries it. Then suddenly, "Tiggers do NOT like hunny!"
  3. And lastly, Beauty and the Beast: Only for the reason of the dancing hunny pots during Pooh's nightmare of heffalumps and woozles.

I'm sure that I could come up with more after watching more, but that is all for this particular moment. However, I would like to ask... did anyone else ever think that Piglet was a girl?

"The wonderful thing about tiggers
Is tiggers are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber;
Their bottoms are made out of springs!
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!
But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is
I'm the only one!"

Well said, Mister Tigger! And now I shall take my leave.

TTFN! Ta-ta for now!

Modesty IS still in fashion!

Evening! (Unless it's morning or afternoon or midnight at the time that this is read.)

Real quick like before I get around to going into depth about the subject that the title hints at. I've had two Mountain Dews in the space of the last hour or so. I expect that I'll be getting hyper here soon. That however will not affect any one of you directly, so I really had no reason to say any of that. I should delete it, but I'm not going to. Ha. =p

Another bit of news. I finally got around to plugging in a game system. First hour of any real gaming that I've done in quite a while. I'm happy. It was a version of Mario for the Wii. Mario is, and always will be, my favorite game. However, the Wii controller tried to kill my thumb. Perhaps pressing the directional buttons so hard isn't quite necessary? But... it's a habit when it gets all exciting and stuff. XD And now I'm going to show you the controller that I started playing video games on, and one that I happen to miss. (Controller and game... XD I should just plug it in some day... )  I miss that controller. It doesn't kill my thumb... XD Anyway...

So, on a different note. I'm a fan of the medieval/Renaissance time. I like the clothes, weapons, castles, etc. of the time. I have yet to attend a Renaissance Faire, but still I made a cloak and tunic for the occasion. I like the dresses and shirts of the time. Long sleeves, skirts that go to the floor, and most importantly, modesty. I'm looking at a clothing site that sells this type of clothing (HolyClothing). My grandmother comes up behind me, and upon catching sight of some of the shirts says, "That type of clothing is not in fashion any longer." That's true. But ya know, I like this gothic stuff a whole lot better than what most girls my age are wearing. So, outdated, out of fashion, and silly looking to most people? Yep. But cool to me and what I like, modest, and comfy? Yep. Guess what I care most about.

Correct me, please, if I'm wrong. The girls of this time wear short shorts that just about could be considered underwear, and tank tops so low and skimpy that wearing a bikini top would cover more skin where it matters. The guys wear their belts just to keep their pants at their knees, their boxers hanging out for the world to see. Am I wrong here? No... I spend a lot of my time watching people. And what do I notice most about the younger people? Modesty is not a word in their vocabulary. Unless it's to say,  "I do not care about being modest." Am I saying this way of dressing is wrong? Oh, yea, I certainly am. Please do not tell me that you can consider it alright for your breasts and bottoms to be out for the world to see? How is that right in anyway? We have a word for that, but I'll refrain from saying it for now. But it's a word that is supposed to be looked down upon. Unfortunately, now it's almost 'uncool' to wear something that would be considered modest. That, that is very sad. (Another sad thing is most of the people that dress like that come from a public school mindset. And upon talking to a few public schooled people, I think showing their body improperly is one of the least of their worries... o.o I'm not saying that they all are like this, those public schooled people. Because I also know some smart ones, and one's that dress in a better fashion.) I am a very modest person, and more than once I've had people ask me why I am so. Why? Because I feel highly uncomfortable with everyone and their brother out on the street seeing me, that's why. Maybe I overkill the modesty thing, but I'm comfortable in what I wear. So, I don't mind how many people roll their eyes at my t-shirt and jeans collection.

Girls: You want to dress that way? Alright, go ahead. Obviously it's your right to. The guys you know probably want you to dress like that, so they can take advantage of you. But why do you want that kind of guy, someone that won't repect you as a person just because your 'hot'? A guy will only respect you as much as you respect yourself, and dressing like that is certainly not respecting yourself very highly. Remember that, when you don't understand why all the guys around you are pigs...

Guys: Seriously? You look dumb with your pants on the ground. Do you waddle about just to keep your pants up like that? What is so cool about that? I mean... really? It's cool to show your underwear now? Uh.. why? Psst... It's not cool... Just so you know...

Okay, recap. Modesty IS still alive in the world. Showing your privates to the world is bad, and it demands respect from no one. You have the right to dress like that, just like I have the right to say that you look silly. I'd suggest Wal-Mart or Goodwill at least. (They have clothes...) I just would like to know why people dress this way, deep down under the 'It's cool!'. They have to have a reason... Or maybe they don't. Isn't that called peer pressure and social standing? Ah... welcome to the world. (Learn to stand on your own and go your own way. Don't get sucked into the torrent of people going with the flow.)

Well, I've went and finished my rant. Thank you for reading. Have a wonderful night. =p

It's the little things.

Yes, sirree. It's the little things in life that make the biggest impact, that mean the most, that can brighten a day. Don't forget to look for the little things, don't just brush them away without a glance back. Learn to dance in the rain. And something else that is important  to remember is that if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? (The answer to that: NO ONE!)

I've found, and this may just be me, that after spending a couple of days being down and sad, that I can just randomly start laughing. Usually the thing that has gotten me down is so silly and trivial, even though it's obviously important to me. And it tends to being something little that makes all of the difference in brightening a mood. But then, I just start laughing, and trying to calm down usually succeeds in getting the exact opposite in results. I laugh more and harder. I've also noticed that this tends to happen at night. But you know, I think it's good to just have those moments where you sit and laugh, even if no one else knows why you're laughing. It serves to remind you that not all in life is horrible and bad. It shows that all it can take is something little to make your day ten times brighter. And who knows? Maybe you just made someone else's day, just because they heard you laughing. Laughter is like a yawn. Both are seriously contagious, all you have to do is see or hear either a giggle or a yawn, and then you find yourself doing the same exact thing. So, don't forget to find the little things.

I listen to a lot of music, that's pretty obvious considering I'm usually on YouTube or Pandora if I'm on my laptop, and I usually have my Ipod when I'm off the computer. The main thing for me is the beat of the song. The second important thing in a song is the lyrics, even though I spend half my time ignoring the lyrics and just listening to the music. XD I listen to music when I'm writing or working on something for school because in a odd way it helps me focus on what I'm doing, instead of what's around me. I listen to it when I'm in a bad mood because it helps me to keep my tongue in check. I listen to it while I'm working so that I focus on the music and not the boredom of the work. I listen to it when I'm alone because I hate being alone and, once again, the music gives me something else to focus on. But the lyrics are good to. Especially when they explain perfectly how you feel. There are several of those. Plus it's kind of fun for me to make people listen to stuff that I think that they'll like and nailing it. I can not play any instrument worth a crude, but I greatly appreciate other people playing instruments. ^_^ So thank you, people of the world, whose music I listen to and enjoy. You are amazing and deserve a hug!

A bit of news. I've gone and created a new blog. It's name is Writing in Wonderland. I'll post the link to it, granted that I remember to do so. As of right now (July 12), there is nothing there  but an introduction. However, in the coming days I hope to be putting stuff up there. It's a blog dedicated to my writing. (If you steal my writing, I will shove my shoes down your throat... >.<) I'll keep writing on this blog as well, considering it's apparently dedicated to my lack of an attention span. =p Was that the TARDIS that just flew in front of my window?! ... Point proven. =p Anyway, I hope that you'll hop over there and check it out. I've always wanted to write on a scroll, so I used that background for that blog. Although it is subject to change. Just to mess with you. =P Okay, off to find the link.

New blog: Writing in Wonderland

Okay. I'm off to edit and find stuff for the new blog. I'm happy to be able to have a chance to put stuff up and share with people. I hope that everyone has an amazing day, because you definitely deserve it.

Phantoms, bacon, and photos, oh my!

The Phantom of the Opera. A movie done in 2004 with Gerald Butler as the Phantom, Emmy Rossum as Christine, and Patrick Wilson as Raoul. There's various other movies and such with the same name. It's also a play. (I'd love to see the Phantom of the Opera as a play.) But, this is my favorite version, the 2004 movie.

I'm not sure why I like this movie so much. I mean, the Phantom, Erik, haunts an opera house, tricks a beautiful singer, Christine, and then later makes Christine choose between himself and Raoul, her fiancee. Rather morbid, twisted, and such. But to me, although creepy, I think it's... Well, I don't want to say its beautiful, but... it's interesting.

The picture that I put there at the top, to me, it is a beautiful picture. Why? Well, just let me explain. The mask represents who the Phantom is, how he hides his ugliness from the world, masks it over and tries to make it invisible. The rose because it shows the love, though twisted love, that he has for Christine. (That, and I just happen to be a huge fan of roses anyway. ^_^) And the piano, because of the music. 'The music', that can be taken in many different lights. I'm using it as an overview for the whole movie.  (You have to look at it from a non-literal standpoint.) To me, that is a beautiful picture, with or without the explanation of the different items.

The Phantom of the Opera. In the top three of my favorite movies, has an awesome soundtrack that I just so happen to own on CD, and something that I would suggest someone watch if they have not already. Yeah, it's creepy, but I happen to be fan of these kind of things. Wrinkle your nose at me if you so choose to, but... That;s just how I am. ^-^

You're hungry now. Don't even try to deny it. Even if you just got done at a buffet, if someone is frying bacon, you would totally ask for a piece. You know you would.

Well, actually, I didn't have much to say about bacon. But one of my friends mentioned bacon like... on Father's day weekend. I have not had bacon since then. Bacon deprived? Most defiantly. I seriously want some too. We just bought some, so tomorrow, you can bet to see me frying some bacon. (Bacon is actually a fun word to say. And spell... Everything about bacon is just pure awesome. Except the popping while frying. It can't all be good I suppose. XD)

That picture, of a heart and skeleton key, I actually own this picture. What do you think? I really like taking pictures. When I don't have awesome people to take pictures of (or when said awesome people won't let me take their pictures...) random things. Like this. I really like to take pictures of flowers and other nature things.

I really like that heat necklace, it's current home is decorating my wall when I don't wear it. And I have a small collection of skeleton keys. I think they look cool. I also think that they show history, and they make me think of the olden days. I live in a pretty old house now, and some of my keys (that are actually borrowed XD) came from the house. Not sure which doors they go to however. A lot of the locks have been painted over since most people don't use the skeleton keys anymore, and since the newer door handles are a lot simpler to lock. XD Oh, and the bricks in the background are actually part of the church right next door. The church was built about the same time as our house, (we think this may have been the preacher's house.) but the church is no longer being used for services and such. (On a different note, on the other side of our house, and across the street, we have the founder's cemetery. Really old graves and such. It's pretty cool. There's part of my morbidness back. =p)

Well, back to my picture. My uncle didn't see why me and my cousin wanted to take these kind of pictures. And I'm not sure that I really have a good answer except to say that I like to take them. I think that they look neat, and I can express myself in them. I don't really care if people like my pictures or not, or if they understand why I like to take them. It's a part of who I am, and if someone doesn't like that, well... that's just tough, eh? I'm not going to change myself for anyone, just like no one should ask nor expect me too.

If you can tell me where this ish from, you shall receive a cookie. (Mom, you don't count. XD)

And to finish this off. Happy birthday to my favorite cousin!! I hope that she had an awesome day, full of lots of wishes and dreams come true. Just remember to keep dreaming and dancing to your own beat, cuz! Don't let anyone kick you down, and if they do, just tell me and I'll kick them twice as hard. 'Cause no one messes with my family. ^-^ Anyway, happy birthday!!! Love ya! =)

Bye-bye! ^-^

Imagination and Imagery

Starting this off with a bit of random. (Shocker there, right? =p) Although I like to say that 'Rawr' means, 'I love you' in dinosaur, there are some other possibilities to it's meaning. The reason that I say this is, I saw a picture the other day questioning Rawr's meaning. The author said that it really meant, “I'm going to eat you!” This does seem like a much more likely possibility. But, considering that we can not ask the dinosaurs what it truly means, I think that I shall stick with it meaning, “I love you.” (And even if we could ask, we would not be able to understand them...)

Another random string of words put together with honey and glue. (Do not not the paste... >.<) Eating jolly ranchers is... just simply awesome. That is all there is to it. The best candy out there? Possibly not. (Chocolate is the best. However, I group chocolate in a group all by itself... so...) These little jewel colored morsels of surgery and fruity goodness are very nice this evening. But... it's near 10 P.M.... so now I wondering if it's really such a good idea to be eating candy. Sleep (and, fingers crossed, a non-restless sleep) would be very much appreciated. Not likely... perhaps that is why I do not try to keep myself from eating things before I go to bed. I still have bizarre dreams and restless nights non-the-less. So, enjoy the candy I say! (Does it seem that I am rambling to anyone else? Or is that my imagination? Hmm...) But there is one more thing that I would like to add. If I offer you some of my candy... then be sure that it means that I consider you a good friend. Because I do not share my candy with just anyone. (Seriously... I'm a nice person. But I hide my candy and gum... [Gum also has it's own group apparently.. So does Pizza... And bacon.. And ramblings...] I don't just share meh candy with anyone. XD)

Now for the real reason for starting this post. (Besides rambling on about candy and Dino-speak.) You know those cards that psychiatrists show you that have the ink spots on them and demand that you come up with an answer? “Yeah... it looks like... a squirrel.” Well... I kind of have that question for you. However, I do not have any ink spotted cards. This is all within the realms of imagination and imagery.

Okay, this is how it'll go. I'll say a word, like... a wish. Then I'll ask you what you think of, how you would describe that word in a picture. Personally, I would describe this as a shooting star, or a dandelion that's gone to seed. But yet, it would be so much more. The shooting star would have millions of pin prick stars behind it, showing that there are millions of wishes, in the past, in the present, and in the future. The dandelion might be getting blown away by the breath of a small child who has their eyes closed with the hope that their wish will come true, and in the background you see the child in different still frame pictures of their life as they are growing up. Or having the same idea as the stars, and having the background be a whole field of dandelions just ready to be wished upon and then blown away into the air. Well, that is how I would think about it. How would you? (I don't really expect any answers, but I do hope that I get you thinking with this. How would you see these things personally? Instead of from someone else's POV? (POV= Point of view.) Here we go then.

A dream?

True love?

A daydream? (Which is different from a dream, just you know. A dream you have no control over. A daydream is your fantasies coming to life in your mind.)

The future?

A mistake?

Pure?

Wise?

Strong?

These are all things that have meaning, something to put with them. Pure could be a lamb's wool or a dove's wing. The future could be a pending job or starting a family. And perhaps that is what they mean to you. What you see in your mind's eye when one of these words are brought up. But perhaps you see something completely different. So, what do you see?

Sometimes to see something clearly in life, one needs to step back from it, no matter how hard it will be to do so. Sometimes one needs simply to stop and smell the roses, think of others first, or to just keep their mouth closed. Do not forget that life is not just out to get you, or bring you down. Try to remember the best things, the things that make you smile, and the little things. And do not let go of those things.

Have a good day! ^-^

Rawr!

(I do not own this picture. I found it online.)

Okay, I'd like to start with, I love that picture there. ^ Rawr! ^_^

Right! Well, I haven't written in a bit. (I actually had one written a few weeks ago, but before I could get it edited, I had to leave.) It seems that I say that quite a lot, since I'm not very constant with writing. Perhaps I should stop saying that? Naw... I like there to be something constant in the posts that I do get written. =p

Update
Well, there's some things that I've done here recently. For starters, I'm out of high school a year and half early. Meaning, I took a GED test half way through my junior year. I passed the test too! So, now I'm starting college this fall. Not really looking forward to it, but I'll be happy when it's over and I have a degree. And I will probably be getting a job this fall after my birthday. This is the year that I technically can be called an adult. How exciting. (I seem so enthused, don't I? =p) Another part of my update. A couple months ago I finally got to meet Blanky in person! ^_^ Well, her, her sister, her mother, and her little brother. They all came up to visit. It was an awesome 4 days! I think... this may be the end of my update of exciting life stuff.
 Books
I've read a few pretty good books here lately. First, the Hunger Games trilogy written by Suzanne Collins. I've read all three of them. The last two got read within a week. My first response after finishing them was to just sit there and go, "Wow..." The last two were very action packed, and there were some twists thrown in. I think that she did a good job in creating the characters. They all had their own distinct personalities and traits. The world of the future that she wrote the story in was very real seeming and believable. (Let us just hope that this does not truly happen to the country, yes?)  Having the 24 kids being taken to kill each other so there is only one victor... It's a disturbing thought. But isn't that resting on the thought of one life for the greater good? Hasn't that been said through out the ages? I think perhaps, that I did not like how Katniss and Gale's relationship ended. Although I understand why it had to be that way. (And to explain any more in depth about that would be to give spoilers.) I thought that, in all, that the three books were very well written and good reads. (And when I say that the writing was good... I'm very picky about that. But I liked Mrs. Collins' writing style.) And yes, there is a movie. I watched the movie before I read the book. Like almost every other book turned to movie, they left stuff out, got things wrong, and such. However, the main story was the same, and it's one of the better movie from the book that I've seen. (The best was the Princess Bride by William Goldman. I've seen that movie sooo many times that I can quote it. However, the book was a LOT like the movie. The main difference was that the author went deeper into the lives of Fezzik and Inigo before they met Vizzini. But this is me getting side tracked. However! I will say, that if you liked the movie of the Princess Bride, I would highly recommend reading the book.)

I also read the Princess of the Midnight Ball written by Jessica Day George. It's a story that is about the 12 dancing princesses. However, this story is much... darker then the Barbie version, which would only be logical. It's an interesting read. The POV switches between the first born, Rose, and the savior of the girls, Galen. Galen is a very well mannered young solider-turned-gardener that wishes only to make Rose happy and to help the girls. Another good read that I would suggest.

And, I have two more for you right now. Beastly and A Kiss in Time, both written by Alex Flinn. Beastly is very similar to Beauty and the Beast. (Go figure...) And a Kiss in Time is like Sleeping Beauty. Both set in the modern world. (There is some language, and alcohol is mentioned... But nothing seriously bad. However, perhaps not recommend for a younger audience.) (And yes, there is a movie version of Beastly. I have not seen the movie. But I noticed that the kid seemed to be simply made ugly in the movie, scars and tattoo like things. However, in the book he turned into a literal beast, fur and all.) These were both good books in their own rights. (I don't give the best book reviews. *Shrugs* This is what I have to give you however.) These are the most recent things that I've read. If I read something else that was pretty good, then I shall come back on here and tell you about them.

Movies
Just a quick list of the newer movies that I'd like to see. (1.) Underworld- Awakening. (2.) Avengers. (3.) MIB 3. (4.) Snow White and the Huntsmen. (5.) Act of Valor. I think there is some more to add to this list, but those are some of them, the main ones. Especially numbers 2 and 5. But.. I get to wait some more until they leave the theaters, come out on TV and DVD, go through Blockbuster, and then EVENTUALLY get to Netflix. >.< Bwhaha...(<Evil laughter) Netflix teaches you the virtue of patience. Especially when you're waiting for new seasons of TV shows to come on. (But, that's a whole different list. And I seriously doubt that you'd care what I like watching. XD)

Just some randomness.
Well, like that heading there says. Just some random things here to wrap this post up. First, if you've made it this far, you deserve a cookie and a thank you. So... Thank you for reading at least this far! ^_^ You have made my day awesome. I truly appreciate the people that take time to read my silly words. Thank you! (There will be a cookie here at the end, I promise!) And also, I'm not really sure how I can go from college stuff to books to movies, but apparently it's possible. Since I went and did it. These posts are truly as random as my thoughts. Random and odd. (Dangerous question to ask me, "What are you thinking about." Very, very dangerous question. XD. You probably don't really wanna know anyway. Just thought that I'd tell you this.) Well, I think that I shall head off and find some stuff to do to occupy my time before I go to the college later tonight and take a placement test. Toodles, dear reader!!! ^_^

Oh no!! I'm home schooled!!

Some of you wouldn't believe the bad responses that me and my family get because of this fact.
Usually, this is the first response I get, "But what about friends and a social life?" Okay, number one, school is to get an education, not get a boyfriend/girlfriend and have the best social life ever in the whole freaking world. Now, I'm not saying that you can't do both of those things while in/at school, but still, school's MAIN purpose is to TEACH you. Now, I, personally, do not have much of a social life, and I can blame that on no one but myself. And obviously I'm okay with my current social life, or else I would change it. I know a lot of home schoolers personally, and know what? They all have friends... Shocker... >.<

I've also heard, "What about your education?" First I'll say this, it's called home SCHOOL. Just like public SCHOOL, only at home. I do not see why people think that just because I don't getup at the crack of dawn to ride a bus to go to a crowded school full of a bunch of people I probably wouldn't get along with that I don't get an education. That point is rather irritating. And I would just like to say, my Algebra II course this year, is similar to some of what Ivy Tech's Algebra is. So please, tell me again how I'm not getting an education just because I do so at home. (Ivy Tech is the string of community colleges in Indiana, by the way.)

(I realize up there ^ that I said that I probably would not get along with most of the people in the public schools. Most people know me as a really easy person to get along with, and that's true. I am. Or at least I act like I am. I wouldn't shun someone immediately just because they were labeled as an 'emo' or a 'prep'. [Cliques are so stupid to me...] Just wanted to clarify that. I didn't mean that I would hate everyone at a public school...)

Has anyone stopped to consider that home schooling and one room school houses is all they had way back in the day? But.... our founder's still had an education. I wonder how that happened...

I've heard/ seen other hits towards home schooling, but I can argue just about any one of them. Notice please that I'm not putting down public schools, even though I do not agree with what they teach and the system now-a-days. Mainly, they teach evolution, whether directly or indirectly, and that is one thing that I dislike the most. We can not preach, pray, or otherwise teach about Christ in public schools, but anything about Darwin and evolution is perfectly fine. And yet, there is no religious persecution? Well... that is a different subject for a different day. Also, I have yet to say anything private schools. Most of the private schools that I know of, are all founded in a certain religion. (Not saying they all are however.) I will neither put them down or support them at this exact moment. I actually started my school life in a Lutheran private school. This does not mean that, one, I'm a Lutheran, nor two, that I am prejudice. (I'm actually a Christian that is non-denominational. I have no group to be put into. But that also should be saved for another day.)

If I ever have kids, then I will not put them in public school. But that is just my opinion, my decision. My family and friends can put me down as much as they wish to, but as long as me and my husband agree, I do not care what others say. I will listen and take into consideration what others say, but ultimately, anyone else's words mean nothing.

Another thing that bugs me about public school is the peer pressure. Does no one know that as soon as they graduate, that they'll lose the prom king status? There isn't a single person who will care that you're the most popular person in school outside of those walls. Get over it. You'll be treated like every other person, ouch. I've been told that I can't have mixed kids, and that I can not name my kids odd things, give them unique names. Why? Because of what others think. I do not care about this. If I happen to fall in love with a non-white guy and we decide to have kids, then that's what we'll do. If I decided to name them 'Frodo', 'Leoglas', and 'Aragron', whose gonna stop me? The main part of peer pressure comes from public schools, where the one mocking doesn't have the right to because they look different too. So I say... THIS IS MY LIFE! And I shall do with it what God intends. I don't care what people tell me I can or can not do in my life when it comes to that sort of thing. It's unfair of those people to say these things to me. I wish they would keep their opinions to themselves. I am 17 years old. I don't even care about having kids right now. And you know what? I'll turn 18 in 6 months (and 10 days =P), at which point I'll be a legal adult. And those opinions will still not matter to me. Besides, I'm named after a state... I'd say that's pretty weird, and even when I went to a private school, no one made fun of me for it. Sure, they cracked jokes because there was also a Dakota in my class, but in first grade that wasn't hurtful. So, please, make fun of me for my name. I do not care. I don't have a name that two thousand other girls in my generation have. I think that's pretty flippen cool.
(Those names up there, 'Frodo, Leoglas, and Aragorn', they're characters created by J. R. R. Tolkien. Author of 'The Lord of the Rings'. I do not take credit for them.)

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is this.
"Opinions are like buttholes. Everyone has one and they usually stink."-Author Unknown.
There you have it. You're free to give your opinion,  you're free to argue it. But do not get all up in my face and tell me that I shouldn't be home schooled. If you do send your children to public school, that is your decision alone. Please do not put me or my family down because we do not agree with your opinions. That is completely unfair. We have the same right to have an opinion and preference as you do.

Valentine's day- my thoughts.

Valentine's Day.
The bane of every single person alive.
Not completely true. It can be the best day in the world for a single person and the worst day for someone that does have a special loved one. I guess it all depends on what's happening that day, right?

I guess that after spending 17 Valentine's days alone, I don't mind it so much... even if I do have someone that I like. Although I'm not saying that I wouldn't like to be able to have a Valentine, it's okay that I don't until God tells me whom he wants me to be with. Because God is writing my love song, even if I'm impatient and want to know now.

Having friends is a good thing, sometimes it helps to take your mind off of things that you don't want to think about because whatever it is makes you sad or distressed. Randomly calling or messaging, or even tackling!, a friend can be enough to brighten your day sometimes. =P

And sometimes... you just have to take matters into your own hands and just tell that someone that you like them. You may be surprised, right? (I say that, and yet I am such a shy person!) Sometimes you just have to drop hints, poke, maybe even send them a secret Valentine? All depends on the person though. (Because, as I've found, staring at the person and trying to use the Force to make them do as you wish, it doesn't work... =S )

I dunno. Tomorrow is my 17'th Valentine's day, still single. And I guess I'm okay with that. I wish that I wasn't, but still, as I said, I'm waiting for God to point the right guy out to me. So.. chocolate for me! It's the best part for now! =P

Okay... Happy Valentine's day everyone!! =D (Or Happy Single's Awareness day! Which ever! =) )

(P.S. I realize that I didn't actually put many thoughts into this... Sorry. But that's all I got for ya tonight! Bye!)

First blog of the year!

So... I haven't posted a blog in a while, and since it is a new year, I thought that I should post one. In the first month of the new year. However, for me, that first month ends in a little less then three hours. For some it's longer away; for some it's already February 1'st.

I've come to write this only a little distracted by Papa Roach (a band), Facebook, and a role play. But I can still make this make sense! Really! Well... as much sense as can be had from me that is. =P But that is the price that you pay if you talk to me/ read my blogs, now isn't it?

I hope that everyone's Christmas went well, and that they had an enjoyable day. (And of course, that goes for any and every holiday before and after Christmas that I haven't mentioned.) I would also like to point out, that this is the year of the Dragon. Cool, huh? (In case anyone didn't know, I happen to like dragons. A lot, like the mythical kind. I.E. Saphria from Eragon and other types along those lines.)

Also, in case anyone hasn't noticed yet, I really had nothing to write about tonight, other then some random things.*nods* But then, that's also pretty normal, isn't it? =P Ah... I have this on FB (Facebook) but I would also like to share it with my blog readers. (if I still have any!)

Nomivore.... One whom noms. Because nomming ish fun and nom-ificent!
Anyone happen to not know what 'nom' is? May I ask... What is wrong with you?! Okay, well... to nom is like to eat... Usually said when someone is eating something that they find to be particularly good.  So, there you have it. Nom. *nods*
Well... I think that I have just about run out of random/ useless things to say tonight. Thus, I am about to stop wasting your time by reading this. I'm so nice. XD I think next time I shall list some books that I've read recently that ish good. How about that? I'll try to make that next time sometime soon, kay? Yeah... we'll just have to see, now won't we?

Allonsy, Alonzo!!!  Goodbye, earthlings! Farewell, humans! See ya! Bye!
(Thanks for reading! Obviously you wouldn't know that I was thanking you if you hadn't read all the way through. Smart cookie I am! GO YODA! Haha okay... see ya!)

Today I talk about CHRISTmas!

I'll just get right to the point. My point is a question. What is the true meaning of Christmas?

The answer to that question is so obvious that if it were a snake, it would bite you. In case anyone is looking at that question with a 'duuuh' look on their face, I'll give you the answer. CHRIST! Shocking, isn't it? It's NOT about presents, trees, santa or anything else. It's about Jesus coming to earth, being born of a virgin in a simple manger. Man... I can not believe that some people don't even realize that.

Then again, not to surprised. Christ and the Bible or banned from public schools, (But please, try to ban evolution teaching and see what happens... -_-') it's banned from the public square, (The nativity scene was ordered to be taken down last year on a public lawn.) and in various other ways our "wonderful" government has banned Christianity. (Oh wait... out President is Christian... yeah... Yes, that is sarcasm.) So it is not surprising that more and more people are trying to take Christ out of Christmas.

Of course, they can try, but they will never really succeed in the hearts of true Christians. They can change the carols and come up with 'Santa Baby' and other silly things. They can have people say 'Happy Holidays!' or 'X-Mas'. Like I said, they can try. But wanna know something funny? That 'X' in 'X-Mas' means CHRIST! HA! So all of those silly people are rubbing there hands and muttering, 'Ha! We fooled those stupid people! They think we took the mention of Jesus out of the holiday! Hahahaha!' And the people that know that X-mas means the same as Christmas can just roll their eyes and say, "Nice try!"

Something that really irks me is the excuses that the people who want to take Christ out of Christmas give. (Just so that everyone knows that may be reading this, I live in America, and am obviously a Christian.) "We don't want to offend anyone of different religions and ethnicities." That is one of the biggest one sided load of crap! Number one, America is SUPPOSED to be a CHRISTIAN country where their residents are called AMERICANS and where the language is ENGLISH! (*eye twitches* There is Spanish EVERYWHERE! On signs, instructions, and various other things. I do not have ANYTHING against Mexicans, but this is AMERICA! LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH!!) If you are here in America, then you should respect our religion, holidays, laws, and other things. If you don't like what our country is, then please feel free to leave and go back to your own. Goodness... I'm so tired of people coming here and making changes that pretty much kick us to the curb like a poor old couch. What if we went down to their country and tried to make changes that we liked? Yeah right, they would kick you out so fast you wouldn't know what hit you! But try that here. Doesn't work, thanks once again to our "wonderful" government!

You aren't Mexican, you don't celebrate Cinco de mayo. You aren't Jewish you don't celebrate Hanukkah. Your a Christian and you don't celebrate CHRISTmas! Am I missing something here?

You know what? I don't care what anyone says. I will happily say 'Merry Christmas!' to anyone and everyone that I see. And if they get offended, then I will not say that to them any more, and I will feel sorry that they are offended that I said the name of the Lord aloud. I will not change my religion, my beliefs, my thoughts just because I do not have those freedoms anymore. Whether you like it or not, it's CHRISTmas and HE is the reason for the season! I hope no one forgets that!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!

The randomness of being a teenager.

Well... actually.. anyone. Considering that adults act like teenagers too, they just get away with making fun of us... >.< I say 'good for you' to those people who can admit to acting like a teenager when you are no longer technically classified as one!
Listening to music even though I have the start of a headache. This is due to the fact that I can not live without music... Not true. I can, but i absolutely love music, I'm listening to something 24/7, 'cause if a electronic device isn't playing something, it's playing in my head. I'm currently listening to Crush Crush Crush by Paramore. Thinking about Secondhand Serenade or All Time Low afterwards. I must say that it if were not for my mom, step-dad and my Twin, then I probably wouldn't knew of all the bands that I do. Or at least, they'd be mostly country.
So... Mom asks me to play Whiter Shade of Pale by Annie Lennox.. I repeat it and come up with 'Whiter Pade of Shale'... Smooth, I know, I'm just that good. I find it oddly amusing some of the things that people will bleep out in songs. No examples of what I mean, all I will say to that is, Have you ever bought a CD from Wal-Mart?
I keep listening to the same... *counts in the air* five..? bands... Now I feel like I should name them. Paramore, Secondhand Serenade, All Time Low, The Ready Set, and Black Veil Brides. (if you haven't heard of any of these bands/ haven't heard any of their music, I have suggestions for you. XD)
I have a   I bookmark to a baby name site... Due to writing and making role play characters... I finally decided to bookmark it so I wouldn't have to keep searching for it...It's interesting, because they give the meanings of names also.
Okay... my brain is begging for sleep, so goodnight peoples of the universe and beyond!

A word for the unseen.

No... That is not a reference to ninjas or Doctor Who. Actually, it's about people, real people (not implying that ninjas aren't real.) There is also no Fringe puns in there... >.< No puns towards any books nor shows, 'kay?

In every crowd there's that one kid, that one person, that is always there. Many don't see him. Many don't hear him. That one person that is the most thoughtful. The most caring. The one that sits in the corner and enjoys the party, not by dancing and causing ruckus, but because he watches everyone else having fun, and uses their excitement and joy as his high. The kid that would make sacrifices and do a lot of stuff just to make sure that the others had fun.
Sometimes it's the people that are themselves despite what others might think about their appearance or behavior. The people that can be made fun of all day and still be a shoulder to cry on. The misunderstood. Sometimes their actions go unexplained, mostly because they go unnoticed. But if you happen to see them, why don't you stop and ask? =)
I am, in part at least, this type of person.  I've also noticed them. Sometimes being unnoticed is the object, and if your careful, it's fairly easy. I don't know what it is, about being unnoticed, that is so entertaining. Is it the feeling that you get when you see someone enjoying their gift or whatever? Is it the feeling of skirting the edge of the scene like a ghost? Well, perhaps both. (Plus, it's amusing to just watch people. See how they act, plus you can hear some really good things. =P)
There is a draw back however, well more then one really.  One is being caught at your silent act. Because usually there are two ways that people act when they finally see you. (A.) They either mock you, which is hurtful. (B.) They make you come out of hiding, out of your comfort zone. It's also frustrating to find someone in the middle. Where they don't make fun of you (which you can brush off) nor do they pull you very much (which you can usually escape.) It's the people who are suspicious of how you act and ask questions about it, and in such a way as to make you feel dumb, and then leave it, as if they just brushed you off in a haughty manner because your not worth their time. These people are annoying to deal with, because being quiet doesn't suit them, neither does showing your true colors, it's a lose-lose situation (one that you can also usually brush off after a time.)
All in all,  I guess what I'm trying to say is, look past the crowd. Look to see the people on the outside looking in. The people that are watching instead of being in the spot light. The quiet ones. Usually they have amazing personalties, if you only get to know them well enough. But push them past their limits, past their comfort zones, we all have our limits, whether we show them or not. These people are the misunderstood. The watchers. The ones that understand life. The unseen.

Fall and other things.

Fall is my favorite seasons. For many reasons.
  • The colors that tinge the trees.
  • The crunchy leaves, how they sound when you walk on them.
  • My birthday. But I don't really count that. XD
  • The smell of burning leaves.
  • And lastly, the feeling, the atmosphere of fall.  I know that it will sound odd, but it makes me feel closed it when I'm outside, but in a good way. It makes me feel like I'm in the 1800 century England. Like I said, weird.
Fall is just amazing. ^_^

Next order of blogging, I have red streaks in my hair! It's not dye, they are clipped into my hair, but they stay. It's awesomely amazing! ^_^ I like how the red stands out against my hair.

I know that this is short, but I think that's all for now! I'm slightly distracted. =P

TTFN!

The all famous Yahoo News says "Three surprising things about headaches." Let me guess... 1. The hurt, 2. They suck, 3. They're annoying. Oh wait... Those aren't surprising, are they?

I am finding it very difficult to not make Doctor Who references while watching movies and shows. (If you've never seen Transformers *the movies* or Doctor Who, you may want to skip this next bit.) (Comparing DW to Transformers.) Hmm.. An alien planet. A war going on between good and bad. (Auto bots and Decpiticons *probably spelled that wrong*/ Timelords and Daleks) Planet comes to tragic end (Gallifrey and whatever-the-Auto bot's-planet-is called.) Survivors come to Earth (only in the case it's several and not just one. I.E. The Doctor.) Said survivors must once again battle the enemy from long before and destroy them. Hmm... Yeah... That might not have made sense to anybody else, but in my little mind it made perfect sense. =P
Want to know what I think one of the biggest scams is? Dream catchers! They do not catch the bad dreams. Well, at least not mine. >.<. I hardly ever have good dreams. (when I actually remeber them that is.) Prime example of a failed dream catcher? I had a dream about my friend's RP (role play) character (big bad, not one to be messed with) and these two fat ladies in a house on this hill. Why? I honestly have no idea. Nor do I know what I ate before going to bed. O.O. Speaking of odd dreams, I had a dream about Stefan from the Vampire Diaries series. (Books, not show.)

And speaking of books, I wanna say that in a month and 6 days, the last Eragon book is coming out! *happy dance* Yes... I'm back to counting stuff down. =D.

Okay, so, I'm writing this odd story about Rock stars. (I've mentioned it before.) And as everyone knows, couples have fights, right? So, I get this great idea for a chapter. That bad thing is I have the beginning, the second half of my climax, and two resolutions, however, I can not make myself write the climax itself, and I even know what it's gonna be! Five sentences, and I can't do it. All day I've been writing everything but that. It's like.. my mind knows that this happy couple is gonna be all mad at each other and it's gonna be sad, so it's refusing to write it! >.>. Even though it already knows that they're gonna be back together in about four pages and a new chapter. *Rolls eyes at self* I feel so disappointed in myself. I mean come on! I've killed people before in my books! KILLED PEOPLE! *Bahumbugs* I will get it written though, brain! Cause I really wanna send it to my friend! And I have to have it done by November! Bad, brain!
Oh.... Did I say that last bit out loud... Oh dear... Ah well.!

I'm off to mentally yell/argue with myself some more, and make myself write that bit, sooner or later. Talk to you later!

ALLONSY!

Saturday, October 1, 2011

I feel very Doctor Who-ish right now. I don't now why. But as I do my continuous-random-never-ending-thoughts I keep getting DW references. =D Kind of amusing, and because I am amused, I am content, so I thought I'd share a blog today. First DW mention. "An apple a day keep the doctor away, but if the Doctor is cute, screw the fruit." XD (< That's a smiley face by the way!) Yep! OH! I got another one for ya, this came from an icon I found recently. "You know that your obsessed with Doctor Who when you actually want to be abducted by an alien." ONLY if this alien has a Blue police box, obviously! =P

I'd like to do something different. I can see that people are reading this! (I am NOT a stalker... But I do like you're new carpets! ^_- Kidding!) I am gonna give you people my e-mail address, and if anyone is interested, send me an e-mail and tell me what you think about my blog and/or suggest something for me to write in coming blogs. (Yes, I do realize that you COULD do that in the comments!) Either way, up to you! OH! But if you do, make sure that I know that your e-mailing cause of the blog, or else I'll delete it as I'll think it's spam. ^_^

Do you know what? No? Me either. I was hoping that you did. I had a good dream this morning. It left me happy. Well, not really in a state of joy but content. I was hanging out with some guys that I don't get to hang out with, and my cousin. =P The last time I had one of those dreams was... The night before Valentine's day, and I feel in love with a rock star! XD

I really don't have anything inspirational to say right at this moment, though I must say that I'm not usually very inspirational anyway.  SO I will talk about Halloween instead. (This colored text is really starting to annoy me.. It will not stay the color that I want.) What are you going to be for Halloween? I'm going to be an elf again, because I like elves. But I'm not a nerd... I mean... it's not like I made an elf costume and made my room look like a castle or anything... o.o... Yep, and my little sister will be a dino/dragon. And I'll get candy because she's cute. That's the way to do it. ^_^ 17 is NOT to old to get candy... hehe!

I must say that I'm not usually one to get all fan girlish. I mean, some things yeah, but not usually over famous people. I'm just to mundane to get a famous person to notice me =P But I have to admit that I'm finding it hard to control my fingers right now to not go fan girly over this singer's voice... *swoons* >.> Off to another subject before I bore you more.

But, I guess that you wouldn't be reading this if I was boring you, unless you're just that bored. But that's okay, because I like to help people not be bored. I want to talk about DW again. Starting in 2005, the 9'th Doctor. (I honestly can not spell his name.) The episode where he first meets Rose Tyler. Did anybody else find it interesting that he was looking at his ears/ hair (he only wants to be ginger!) at Rose's house, as if he had just regenerated, but that stalker guy from the Internet had pictures of him? Is that weird to just me? I mean, I know that he could have done all of that in a technical 15 minutes, but he usually finds the time to see what he looks like. I also find it interesting that the earlier Doctors looked aged, but they have progressively gotten younger looking. Hmmm...

I think I will skip away now, and listen to some more BVB (Black Veil Brides). Bye, peoples of the worlds!

OH! Thought I forgot didn't ya?  =P tany_1994@yahoo.com  SEE YA!

Pl
ease Brain! 200 more stinkin' words and I'll leave you alone! Yes, I know that you would rather be playing a game or watching anime, but we're so close to being done with this darn paper! Yes, it's 9:24 PM and it's passed your relaxing time, I understand, but come on!

What? I'm... the only person that argues with their brains/themselves? Nu huh! I know lots of people that argue with themselves..  It seems to be quite natural... Oh... Okay, so apparently my blog prefers red to purple now?

Ha! Now it's blue! What ya gonna do about blogger? No... I don't know... Oh dear...  Now it appears that I'm arguing web sites... aw come on! I can't have blue either? What the heck!

Green? Is green okay? o.o... Okay, because I want something somewhat non crazy and actually some what sane  (did I just repeat myself using slightly different words? I think I did...) to come out of this time-wasting-should-be-writing-last-200-words-of-paper blog... I shall do something that I mentioned before, some amount of blogs back. I'm gonna post my poems about none other than... *Drum roll sounds and crowd holds their breaths* Doctor Who! Yes, because I am a fellow Whovian nerd. (And darn proud of it!) Although (yes.. my text is red again... that is rather annoying actually...) I think it was clear about my Doctor Who liking before. Hmm.. Okay. Now I will post meh poems. (Which are copy righted to me, because I wrote them, and if you steal them and use them as your own I will hunt you down...and and... stuff your noes with peanut butter and do... To the Pain (Princess Bride reference by the way.) Which I heard is highly painful... but at least you live... *insert random evil laughter*) Afterwards, I'm gonna finish that report that I want to strangle, and possibly waste the next hour doing absoletuly nothing worth mentioning... Which I guess I kin already did.. Yay for random rambling? DUH! XD... Okay... I need to stop. Goodnight! Allonsy, Alonso! (I so still want that shirt! XD)

Doctor Who
Traveling through time and space,
Always moving, never at a constant pace.
Hoping around without so much as a thought,
Sometimes landing in the wrong spot.
Armed only with a sonic screwdriver,
Always the one to be the survivor.
Always to be strong,
Even if he is wrong.
Forever alone,
Although he is well-known.
Never having peace at mind,
Always on the look out for something greater to find.
He is as like a ghost,
Not knowing whether to stay or go.
Someday he may find peace,
But we do know that he will not cease.

Kay... Thought I had two. Apparently only one. Whatever. Goodnight, people of the world and or universe!

Can we say pathetic? Yes, I think we can.

Today, I am going to critique someone... again. This seems to be getting to be a regular thing for me. Pathetic? Who's being pathetic? And why am I saying that they are? Both very fine questions. And questions that I will answer. Who? I don't actually know them, nor do I care too. However, I will say that they are males on facebook that need to get a real girlfriend. Or a job. Or some friends. Second, Why? Because they are making quizzes now (on facebook) that are giving people the chance to get their numbers.
Now, of course this is (at hopefully) directed at girls. But, how in the world, do these guys know that some fat forty year old dude isn't going to be chatting them up? Oh another thing to be brought up, to give these guys partial credit, maybe it isn't their real phone numbers, but still. Why would they do that? And... honestly.. wow... just wow...

Hmm.. Okay.. Dinner. Maybe next time I'll have something at least somewhat different to rant about. =P

Friday, September 16, 2011

Surprisingly, after a really long day, all that I feel like doing is drinking my cherry coke and writing. Awesome. XD

Okay, to make my point about this next part, I have to tell you how I was dressed today, okay? Black high tops, black and gray knee high socks (but you couldn't see them), a tan colored long sleeved shirt, black cargo pants, and a silver necklace that I got for Christmas. And then a pair of fingerless gloves. Imagine the oddness. Okay. I know that a lot of the different 'cliques' or 'groups' or whatever you want to call them, have different clothes that they wear. I was dressed in mainly black, so I suppose that someone could call me emo or goth. But, although I like some of every 'cliques' clothes, and wear some, and listen to their music, and like some of their sayings, I'm not trying to be them. I'm not trying to be emo, goth, prep, or nerd. I'm not a wannabe, poser, or a hater. I guess that leaves me being a... nobody. That's fine with me. Because if being a nobody means that I can be me, then I don't care what you call me. My motive is to be me. Not follow along with the crowd. I'm not trying to set fashion trends. (haha, yeah right! No one would dress like me XD) And I'm not trying to stand out. I just like being me, and sometimes my likes falls into the 'groups'. To. Bad.

Well, part of the reason that I felt like saying this was because I think that at least two people laughed at me at Wal-mart today. I think it's a little funny that they laughed at me. I know that I laugh at people some times, but really, no one is better then someone else. Laughing at someone just shows how sad you sense of humor is, and yes this goes for me as well. I know that I'll probably do it again, and I know that others will probably laugh at me. But I don't care. I won't cry because of jerk at wal-mart that I don't know thinks I'm dressed funny. Okay, rant over. XD

I really wanna drive! XD

Okay... bye bye!

Wednesday, September 14, 2011

Woo! I am done with English this year, expect for five projects! And it only took me less then two months. ^_^ Yay for homeschooling! Up next? Math! NOT looking forward to it. It's Algebra II... Bleh.

Okay. I'm usually not a hater. Gays (not in the sense of 'happy') can be gays. Just as long as they leave me alone or at least don't push that crap on me, I don't care. But quite honestly, there seems to be a problem with the guys in this generation. For example? Justin Bieber. Here's why I say this. He wears those goofy 'nerd' glasses, and openly said that he wears women's pants. (I'm sure he had a good explanation, but come on!) Oh! You want another example? I just say on Yahoo an article on men's fashion, and out of curiosity, I went to see. I've now been scared for life. Okay. Clutches and man purses. (To make it worse, th man purse matched his shirt.) Okay... Let's see... Man skirts, man leggings, man skinnies, and if I missed something, well... OH! And a bikini. I'm not joking. What happened to the rough and tough, we don;t care if we get dirty, wanna be only manly, that's what girls like? Okay, fine, I'm sure that some girls (forgive me for saying this, or not, I don't care) like the whimpy look. I personally think that it looks pathetic and dorky for a guy to be wearing heels, skinny jeans, leggings, skirts, or anything else that a girl should be wearing. I am disappointed.

Okay, with that rant aside... I've had mountain dew today, first time in about three weeks.  Mixed with some role playing based on Phantom of the Opera, listening to Phantom of the Opera music (because it's freaking awesome!), and talking to one of my besties... I'm kind of hyper! And to make it better, it's been raining, and it's getting to be fall! My favorite season! I don't know why, I just love it. It's cool so you get to wear jeans and awesome long sleeved cover-your-hands shirts but it's not freezing! WooT! Okay... Gonna go.

Allonsy! And... Goodbye! And... See ya! XD

Sunday, September 11, 2011

My mom says that I like to count things down a lot, and I think it annoys her when I do it a lot. But... I don't think that I do it that often. I mean... sure it's only 14 days until my birthday, and it's a month and 19 days until Nano starts, oh! and it's only about a month until my friend's birthday. Okay... well... Maybe I do count down a lot. XD

I just took a "What element are you?" quiz on facebook, and got lightning. They said that fire is my weakness. How is fire the weakness of lightning? I don't understand! Anyway, I thought that it was kind of funny taking that quiz though. Because I kept answering the questions in a way that would have linked me to all of then expect for darkness. (don't see how that;s an element. oh well. I like the earth element best. that wasn't an option in that one though.) Anyway, it was amusing. I won't put much stock into that though, it was just a thing to pass time.

Watched Priest  this evening. Interesting vampire story. I can see a second one coming. I thought that the vamps looked like another alien though. I can;t think from what movie though... maybe AVP. I don't know. I liked the Priests though. They kicked some vampire booty! I thought that they were better then Blade. (But I still like him!) And the vamps didn't sparkle in the sunlight! Oh yeah! =P I have issues against sparkly vampires... IT:S WRONG! But then again... vampires in general are a little weird and totally inhuman in every way.

Hmm... Next point of subject. I don;t think I actually have one. Other then Ihave another thing to count down. =P The release of Inheritance (the last book of the Eragon cycle). It;s release date is in one months and 19 days. ^_^ November 8th! FINALLY! Okay... I'm off. Goodnight!
